He there! My name is Tony Zharoff. My gamy development career grew from an idea in 1993 when my family drove by the Nintendo campus in Redmond, WA. While we were passing the campus, I told my sister that I wanted to make a game for Nintendo. This led to me spending my afternoons in high school learning how to program! This was back before Google, and finding information was difficult. Now there is a lot of information available, but they’re all missing one key ingredient that I want to bring to you with this course.
The Game Development Cycle. Taking your idea, writing it out, and creating a schedule. As a bonus to this course, I’m going to teach you HOW TO PLAY GAMES as a developer. Look at games through a new lens and never play them the same again.
The game development process broken into three easy phases:
- Planning – which we call pre-production
- Building – which we call production
- Finalizing – which we call post-production
In this course, we’re going to guide you on the process of taking your original idea and bring it to life through planning and creating a schedule that works for YOU.
